THE LOS ANGELES WILDFIRES

Jan 1, 2025 – G4 CLASS GEOMAGNETIC STORM: Auroras spilled across the Arctic Circle, spreading as far south as Mexico, Colorado and Arizona during an intense geomagnetic storm.

Jan. 4, 2025 – G1 CLASS GEOMAGNETIC STORM – As predicted, a CME hit Earth’s magnetic field on (0445 UTC) 6 hours of bright auroras were mainly confined inside the Arctic Circle.

JAN 5, 2025 – HEAVY SNOW HITS THE UK – Extreme weather left housands left without power. Manchester Airport and Liverpool Airport closed for several hours due to snow this morning, urging passengers to check with their airlines for the latest flight information while their teams work to clear the snow.

Jan 5 2025 – HEAVY SNOW HITS THE USA – one of the strongest winter storms in more than a decade. The storms span from Colorado to Washington, D.C., and the worst of it is still to come across the Midwest and Mid-South before heading east toward Philadelphia and the I-95 corridor.

Jan 4-10 2025 – SANTA ANNA WINDS – The 2nd geomagnetic storm increased the momentum of the moving air mass, and the Coreolis Force, curved the air mass trajectory towards LA, pushing back the high velocity interface with the mid latitude air mass until the electrified air mass reached LA where high winds and static charges ignited the fires.

January 7 to 31 – THE LOS ANGELES WILDFIRES – A series of 7 destructive wildfires affected the Los Angeles area. The fires were exacerbated by drought conditions, low humidity, a buildup of vegetation from the previous winter, and hurricane-force Santa Ana winds, which in some places reached 100 miles per hour. As of January 31, the wildfires have killed at least 29 people, forced more than 200,000 to evacuate, and destroyed more than 18,000 homes and structures.

March 14, 2025 – LUNAR ECLIPSE AURORAS: A minor geomagnetic storm was underway on March 14th when the full Moon slipped into Earth’s shadow. The extra darkness allowed the auroras to *pop* over Alaska. “I call this picture ‘Totality'”, says Todd Salat, who photographed the sky show from Denali National Park:

March 15, 2025 – VIOLENT TORNADOES ripped through parts of the U.S. proved deadly as well as destructive Saturday as whipping winds moved east into the Mississippi Valley and Deep South, with at least 17 people killed and scores of homes decimated. Missouri recorded more fatalities than any other state as it withstood scattered twisters overnight that resulted in at least 11 deaths, authorities said. The State Highway Patrol also reported that multiple people were injured.

MARCH 19, 2025 – CLASS G1 GEOMAGNETIC STORM
MARCH 21, 2025 -SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA WILDFIRES were ravaging southern South Korea, killing 18 people, destroying more than 200 structures and forcing 27,000 people to evacuate, officials said Wednesday. The wildfires in six southeastern regions have burned 43,330 acres and injured 19 people, the government’s emergency response center said in a statement. A 1,300-year-old Buddhist temple, houses, factories and vehicles were among the structures destroyed.
